I am a Senior Translational Scientist at Targazyme in Carlsbad, CA, finding new applications for our enzyme technology in stem cell transplantation, immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine. I was born in South Plainfield in the great state of New Jersey, and grew up in Edison and Lawrenceville, NJ, where I graduated from Lawrence High School in 2003. I then attended the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where I graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics and Applied Mathematics & Statistics with honors. I received my Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University in Houston, TX in March 2013, where, under the guidance of Prof. K. Jane Grande-Allen, I studied heart valve tissue engineering. Most recently, I was a Senior Scientist, R&D at Nano3D Biosciences in Houston, TX. Outside of work, my interests include food, traveling, sports, and politics.
